Pepakura or papercraft are action figures or weapons built in paper. You like a character and you don't have the money to buy an action figure? No problem, you can search in internet the lines, print them and with some vinavil and a pair of scissors you can have your little statue, following the instructions.
Do you want a gun for your cosplay? You can make it without spend money or stole one to the police =D

Vinavil is the mark of a glue. It is liquid, you can add some water to make it fluider. Here in Italy everybody knows what is it thanks "art attack", a program about art/decoupage :D

Oh! Art Attack! I remember it! there was a brazilian version of it, as well, in the Culture Channel, but I think it doesn't exist anymore. :(

Is it like Mache Paper?

I think also in Italy doesn't exist anymore

No, it's not mache paper. It's normal paper printed and then with the glue you stick the guides in the right place

I used some 200 gr sheets of paper. They are stronger than ordinary photocopy paper
